Plump bench
Ian Alistair Cochran's Plump series of sculptural, transparent furniture plays with the effect light has as it refracts through crystalline resin. It's held together by notches at each joint or interlocking part, with no glue or fasteners to interrupt the resin's clarity. The Plump bench is shown here in an olive green tint, but it can be ordered in nearly any color — and can be color-matched as well — from candy-apple green to electric blue to more neutral clear or smoke colors. Size and finish (polished or matte) are also customizable.
